Hockley Developments have supplied a local girls school football team with some much needed and very colourful NIKE footballs as they look to progress with their training methods this season.
All Hallows Church of England Primary School in Gedling, Nottingham have run a girls football team for several years even reaching the finals of a national competition held at Stoke City's Britannia Stadium not so long ago.
The school team is run solely through volunteers and funding can be difficult with the teams long serving Manager Mark Kight suggesting "that now each girl has their own football to play with it will massively improve their technique and we can use more methods that will improve our training overall"
Wayne Arnold, who is a parent of one of the players stated "It means that we can have a good quality football for each of the girls that turn up on Wednesday training which makes life so much easier for the manager."
A Hockley Developments spokesperson stated "We are delighted to be able to help out such a great set of children and are fully supporting the All Hallows girls football team going forward."
"We hope even by the smallest of funding initiatives we can help do our bit to prolong their status and will look to continue our support in the local community going forward".
